Operation Reach the Beach
With the Pastor’s leadership, we have developed a plan to reach our first targeted neighborhood.  We will be starting in Manteo.

Canvass the Neighborhood
Saturday, October 8th at 11:00 AM
We need you help canvassing the neighborhood with flyers about our Sidewalk Celebration.  We need help knocking on doors, driving supply vehicles, picking up trash and organizing materials.  

Remind the Neighborhood
Friday, October 14th at 6:00 PM
We will again be knocking on doors and picking up trash.  We will be giving a postcard to serve as reminder of Sidewalk Celebration, which can also be redeemed for a package of candy at our Sidewalk Celebration.

Reach the Neighborhood
Saturday, October 15th at 9:00 AM
We will be doing a Sidewalk Celebration at 11:00 in the neighborhood.  We will be serving lunch as well as passing out a 100 bags of groceries on this day.  This is the beginning of our efforts to reach this community.

Movie Premier Release - October 21 & 22

The Ark will sponsor a free premier movie release, from the best-selling novel Left Behind: World at War starring Kirk Cameron and Academy Award winner Lou Gossett Jr. This release will not be seen in theatres! The showing of this film will take place on Friday, Oct. 21st and Saturday, Oct. 22nd at 7pm. Because the film is rated PG-13 for violence, the church will offer activities on Friday evening for students in grades 1-5 for $5 per child. On Saturday, free childcare is offered for all ages. Color of Truth Tour

A concert series sponsored by Raise the Praise and Ark Student Ministries will be held on Saturday, October 8th in the Family Life Center.  The concert will include interactive progressive worship by bands Straight N Narrow and the Gregory Project.  Though the target age group is teens, all ages are welcomed to attend.  Concert starts at 8pm.  Though admission is free, a love offering will be taken.

Life Development Classes Offered

The Ark International Church is glad to present 3 Life Development Classes beginning on Sunday, September 25th.   Each class will run for 6 weeks.  The classes offered are as follows:

1. Class 101 – Introduction to Membership.  This class will give an understanding of the purposes, vision, and strategy of our church.  The class will also cover the basic tenants of the faith, including how to become a member of the Ark International Church.


2. Class 201 – Introduction to Spiritual Maturity.  This class will define Spiritual Maturity and what it should be in the life of the believer.  This class will also help develop good spiritual habits.  A great class for those advancing from Class 101 or just a great refresher course!


3. Class 210 – Helpful Insight For Parenting.  This class will be taught by a Parent who’s been there, done that – both good & bad.  This class will give an overview of Christian Parenting from a Biblical and Practical point-of-view.  This a great class for Parents Present and Parents to be!

Kids Impact Weekend - 9/17/05

This Saturday, September 17th, The Ark International Church will be hosting Kids Impact Weekend.  This event is for students in 1st through 5th grades and begins at 9am.  Kids Impact will be held in the Family Life Center.  The day will consist of Worship, Training, and Fun.  Lunch will be served on the grounds.  Kids are encouraged to bring a towel, swimsuit, sun block, and a water gun.  The day will conclude at 4pm.  Cost for this event is $8 for students in our community and $5 for students who attend our church.  For more information contact Children’s Pastor, Mrs. Erin Hartman at (252) 441-5182 or email.

Game of Softball

Middle & Senior Adult Pancake Dinner

SuperConference 2005
